Hello again! So today I’m going to be talking about this new Xbox 360 kinect that I got a few days ago. I just love this gaming system so much that I just had to post it online.
When I first got the kinect, it came with one of the X-box kinect games called “Kinect Adventures!” and a game download of “Carnival Games” for a free 3 month membership to this thing called X-box Live. It was actually pretty complicated at first because you have to install the wires of the X-box to the sockets for the plugs, especially if you have a lot of wires for the TV and the speakers too. I watched my dad as he kept on reading the manual for how the gaming device works, I couldn’t wait to play.
Once my dad finished assembling the X-box and the kinect, I was ready to get into action! My dad then touched the power button and came on in less than a minute. The screen of the TV became white, light green lines came up, and the words X-box 360 came up. It then led to the menu and the instructions on how the kinect works and what you can do. For the X-box kinect, turns out you can do voice commands and you can wave your hand so that the kinect can focus on your hands!
After I learned the instructions I started to play the games that we got too. The games that we got for the kinect were Just Dance 3 and Kinect Sports. I took out the disc for Just Dance 3 and inserted it in the the Xbox 360 kinect. There were so many new dances and songs in Just Dance 3 like “Forget You” b Cee Lo Green and “California Girls” by Katy Perry. Me and my mom were dancing to “beautiful Liar” by Beyonce and Shakira. We couldn’t stop playing it the whole day.
Over all, I just love the kinect so much! It’s just so cool how you can play using your hands as a camera watches you. I would recommend this to everyone of all ages really because you don’t need to hold anything and you won’t break anything! The Xbox 360 kinect is really maybe a great thing to do too during the holidays that everyone will enjoy!
